Our stay at Schwarzwald-Hotel Kraeutle was a mix of luxury and practicality. The hotel offers a comfortable setting amidst the stunning nature of the Black Forest, perfect for families with children. The top-floor 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and modern, lacking only a balcony, accessed via steep stairs which could be challenging for some guests. However, the impeccable cleanliness and well-equipped facilities more than made up for it.The value proposition at this hotel is evident in the thoughtful details and services provided. The warm welcome from Martin, the host, was exceptional, with a level of care and attention that truly stood out. Although lacking some traditional amenities like a mini-bar or laundry service, the personalized care and genuine hospitality more than compensated. The location is convenient for exploring the treasures of the southern Black Forest, making it a practical yet cozy choice for those seeking an authentic German guesthouse experience.
